Trivia[]

In Hot Chelle Rae's original version, the music video features Chord Overstreet (Sam on Glee) and Kylie Jenner making cameos, as he is the brother of one of the band members.
Damian McGinty Jr., one of last year's winners, had a brief cameo in the video from 1:28-1:35.
The eliminated contenders also have cameos in the video, except for Taryn. This includes Maxfield, Dani, Tyler, Mario, Charlie, Nellie, Abraham, Shanna, Lily Mae, and Michael.
Blake plays the popular, but humble prom king, which Chris Colfer says does not exist.
Ali plays the flirty mean girl. The writers characterised this into the character of Betty Pillsbury, who Ali played in the fourteenth episode of Season Four, I Do.
Aylin plays the girl who sneaks off against her parents' wishes to go to prom.

Goofs[]

At 1:14, Ali's lips don't move for "Oh well," resulting in the off lipsync.
Between 1:08 and 1:11 Ali's doesn't lipsynch to the "lalala" even if we can hear her voice.
